Q. T. & S. – Dr Set Solo – Hogancamp – Really Good Music, LLC – WSMA Solo & Ensemble

“Q. T. & S.” is a drum set solo written by Randy Hogancamp in 2003. Mr. Hogancamp is a Professor of Percussion at the University of Northern Iowa. The High Hat is not used in this solo. The form for this work is ABACA or Rondo and it incorporates sixteenth and eighth note quintuplets! Be sure to keep the BD steady while playing 5:2. Watch the sticking at letters F & G. This is a solo that will really expand the student’s ability to play “fives”. Highly recommended!
