There is no substitute for a live teacher interacting with a student – but wouldn’t it be great to have an assistant telling your students which notes were right and helping them play in tune while making sure they hold their notes for the proper duration?

The iPAS Practice and Assessment software fills this void by evaluating a student’s performance based on the accuracy of notes, rhythm and intonation.

Using iPAS is simple:

1. Your student loads the software from the Standard of Excellence?ENHANCEDComprehensive Band Method and?Recorder Excellencestudent books onto a computer.
2. Your student listens to the assigned exercise or musical passage and then plays that assignment into a microphone.
3. The software immediately evaluates the performance with an assigned score. (The student may repeat the performance until a satisfactory score is achieved.)
4. The performance and results may be emailed to the student’s teacher for grading, or to family or friends for sharing!
