Trillium from “Floris” – Flute Solo – McMichael – Alry Publications, LLC – WSMA Solo & Ensemble

This volume contains three of Catherine McMichaels most beloved solos for flute and piano. Taken from the quartet “Floris,” which was inspired by white flowers, Trillium is especially melodic. Ros Bothan (Rose Cottage) has been adapted for C Flute and Piano by the composer from the first movement of A Gaelic Offering (FQ-15). As She Was was inspired by a picture of her grandmother as a young lady.
